Lovely Day

Refunds

When we give your money back, and how to ask.

Last updated 24 September 2026.

If you change your mind

Ask for your money back within 30 days of buying the paid plan and we’ll give it, for any reason, or none. We won’t ask what went wrong, though we’d like to know.

You get the whole amount, including the tax you were charged. It goes back to whatever you paid with, and how long it takes after that is your bank’s business — usually a few working days, sometimes longer.

Later than that

If Lovely Day didn’t do what we said it would, write to us whenever you notice. We’d rather hear late than not at all.

One honest limit: after about four months, the payment can’t be sent back the way it came. We’ll look for another way, and we’ll tell you plainly if there isn’t one.

If you bought it in the iPhone or Android app

Apple and Google took that payment, not us, and only they can give it back, under their own rules. We can’t refund money we never received. Ask Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com, or Google through Google Play. If they turn you down and you think that’s wrong, write to us anyway.

What a refund does to your account

It goes back to the free plan. Your funeral wishes, your keyholders and your photos up to the free plan’s limit stay as they are, and you can still change them.

What stops is adding to or changing the paid parts — messages for after, and anything past the free plan’s limits. Nothing is deleted because of a refund. If you buy the plan again, you pick up where you left off.

Your rights either way

In Australia, our services come with guarantees that can’t be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, including a right to a refund for a major failure. Wherever you live, you keep the rights your own consumer law gives you. Nothing on this page takes any of that away — it only says what we’ll do on top of it.

How to ask

Write to hello@getlovelyday.com from the email address your account uses, or tell us which address it is. That’s the whole process. A person reads it.

If you bought on the website, Paddle.com Market Ltd is the seller and handles the payment and the tax; the charge on your statement says LOVELYDAY. You can write to us either way — we’ll sort it out with them.
